Using an Optional AC Adapter

An optional AC adapter is recommended for extended 
use or when the camera is connected to a computer.  Be 
sure the camera is off before connecting the AC adapter.

 Open the battery/card cover.

Unlatch (

) and open (

cover and remove any batter-
ies.

 Insert the AC adapter coupler.

The battery latch will click 
into place when the coupler is 
fully inserted.

 Place the cable in the cable channel.

Open the power (DC input) cable cover and place the 
power cable in the cable channel.

 Close the battery/card cover.

 Caution

Be sure the cover is latched.

 Plug the adapter in.

Attach the AC cable to the adapter and plug it in to 
a power outlet.
