1. Remove the middle right cover.
2. Turn on the main switch.
3. Connect the digital multimeter leads.
•
Attach the negative (common) lead to TP106 (ground) on the main
PCB.
•
Attach the positive lead to TP101 on the main PCB.
4. Turn VR101 to obtain DC 2.6
±
0.1V.
2.5 LIGHT SENSOR ADJUSTMENT
ADJUSTMENT STANDARD : Level 2 of a 10-step gray scale
should be slightly visible
1. Make several copies.
2. Check the background (no image area) and low contrast image areas of
the copy.
3. Turn VR102 clockwise to make copies lilghter. Turn VR102
counterclockwise to make copies darker.
NOTE:
On the production line they use a special test chart when adjusting
VR102. Since this test chart is not available in the field, VR102 should
be adjusted with caution.
