Pull out the specified paper tray until it
stops.

Square the paper and set it in the tray.
When the entire paper tray can
be pulled out (normal time)
A Set paper on the right tray.
B Return the right tray into the original
position.
C Set paper on the left tray.

Align the right side paper at the right and
the left side paper at the left.

Replenishing Paper in Tray
1 (Tandem Tray)
Important
❏
When the paper on the right side of paper
tray 1 runs out, the paper on the left side is
automatically moved onto the right side.
The message “moving paper onto the right
side” is shown while the paper is moving
from left to right. Do not attempt to draw
the tray while this message is being dis-
played.
Note
❏
You can replenish paper while the machine
is copying using paper on paper tray 1. You
can draw left part of the paper tray while
copying is in progress.
❏
Load the left side of paper tray with paper
of the same size as the paper on the right
side.
