Erasing a File
NOTE: When erasing a file, specify its index number not the file number to find
this out, print a list (see page 242).
1. Press Function.
2. Press 2 and 4.
3. Press 3.
4. Enter the index number of the file you
wish to erase.
5. Press Yes.
Continue the procedure from step 4 to
cancel another disk.
6. Check you have entered the correct index
number (not file number). If you have,
press Yes to erase the file.
7. Either:

Erase another file, go to step 4.

Return to standby mode, press
Function.
