Possible Cause:
•
An incorrect type or size of document is used.
•
The document is too long.
•
The scanner rollers (pick-up, feed, R1, and R2 rollers) are dirty.
•
Obstruction in the document paper path.
•
The scan line sensor is defective.
•
Defective tx motor
Action:
1. Check that a correct type of document is being used, and that the docu-
ment length is within the maximum setting.
2. Check for obstructions in the paper path.
3. If the problem still remains, do the following.
•
Clean the rollers with a soft cloth and water, and replace them if they
are damaged.
•
Check that the scan line sensor is working correctly.
•
Replace the Tx motor.
