SERVICE AFTER WATER RELEASE:
The DK-99S is taken off and disassembled. All parts should be dried, cleaned and re-greased
before assembly and resetting. Inspect the cutting knife. If the edges are damaged, replace the
knife. Check the parts, remove the old safety cap and replace. Code for the release top:

For stocked equipment and spare parts, a period of 6 months is
accepted to use the release top
as a replaced spare part, produced the year before the actual service. The used safety cap is
removed with a pincer or a small screw driver. MIND YOUR FINGERS!!!
RESETTING OF DK-99S:
After service or activating of the DK-99S it is re-set by use of the resetting tool 90-038.
The resetting tool is screwed into the DK-99S.The handles are pressed together and the sliced
end of the knife appears on the top of the nut (4).
The release top (6) is pressed into the sliced end. Making sure the release top is fitted properly,
loosen the handles of the resetting tool, unscrew it and check the knife is in the loaded position.
Visually check to see if the edge of the knife is in level with the thread of the DK-99S. Finally,
install a new safety cap (7).
If the pin in the resetting tool is damaged or warn it will not be possible to reload the DK-99S. A
replacement pin is available as a spare part.
IMPORTANT:
Without using the resetting tool you are not able to press the top nut into the sliced opening. To
fit the release top we recommend to use the tool, part No. 99-050
NOTE: Check the inner rubber seal, if damaged replace the top nut.
