PREPARING FRYER
RECOMMENDATION
For longer fat life and better tasting food, always use a top grade
commercial shortening with a high smoke point and resistance
to break down.
PROCEDURES
1.
Lower the basket support.
2.
Pour shortening up to ½ inch below the "max hot oil" mark
engraved on the basket support (oil volume increase with
temperature). Use liquid shortening only.
Solid shortening
will damage the pump. Use of solid shortening will void
the warranty.
CAUTION
!
Before cooking, you must first
clean the fryer to get rid of the factory contamination.
Refer to page 14 of this manual.
WARNING
!
Do not overfill the fryer with shortening.
