4. Mounting and installation
The c-Go is equipped with an EU type plug for connection to the main power supply
with 220-240V/AC 50 Hz.
Do
not
connect the c-Go charger to the power supply
before
the battery has
been connected.
Connect to the battery or board system of your vehicle. For this purpose use the
cables included in the delivery. Connect the red cable to +12V and the black cable to
the ground connector.
For a fixed installation we recommend to use the cable with the ring cable lugs. The
cable with the crocodile clamps should only be used when charging the battery outsi-
de the vehicle (e.g. at home).
Start by disconnecting the c-Go from the mains supply
first
,
before
disconnec-
ting the battery .
The orange wire may be connected as an option. If connected to the vehicle’s stea-
dy positive connector both batteries will run in a parallel configuration as soon as the
voltage of the vehicle battery exceeds 12.6V and the c-Go charger is disconnected
from the mains supply. The c-Go will automatically separate the two batteries again to
permit the towing vehicle to start up. In this context the ground connectors of the two
batteries must be connected to each other.

5. Changing the charging characteristics
By default the c-Go has been set to charge GEL or AGM type batteries with a maxi-
mum charging voltage of 14.4V. This charging voltage may be increased to 14.7V.
For this purpose make the necessary jumper adjustment on the rear of the unit.
Caution! This charging voltage may only be used for the designated batteries,
e.g. Optima YT S 4,2. Always observe the specifications of the battery manufactu-
