installation

CV40E (single sided) - Optional inishing trim

(when using 1/2" drywall)

An optional inishing trim is available to inish the edges of the installation on
the CV40E unit. Installation is as follows:

1. Remove the outer safety glass and outer front and side panels - see in-

structions in manual.

2. Loosen 4 screws inside the lower front edge of the unit to release existing

lower drywall guide and recycle.

Note :

an offset screwdriver is provided with the appliance for ease of removal/
installation of the lip and inishing trim.

Loosen and tighten screws on drywall guide from inside front panel

Completed install

Hook trim onto top drywall guide

Hook top drywall guide onto unit

Lower drywall

guide

Top guide

3. Loosen 2 screws from inside the irebox to release the existing side drywall

guide, remove guide and recycle.

4. Hook top guide, supplied with trim onto unit in three locations shown below.

Secure guide with 4 screws.

5. Install drywall prior to next step.

6. Install the bottom lange of the trim into the same position the lower

drywall guide was in before removal.

7. Lift up trim slightly to hook tabs over lip on top guide.

8. Manoeuvre trim so that side langes are positioned inside top

guide edges.

9. Tighten 4 screws at bottom (loosened in Step 2) to secure trim.
