Optional Side Grill Installation

OPTIONAL SIDE GRILL INSTALLATION CB40 WITH WOOD CHASE

These optional grills meet the requirement of the 120 square inches required for the enclosure in all installations and is designed to keep the enclosure cool.
To install the side grills - frame an opening of 8-5/16" H x 8-5/16" W.
The inished facing material should be attached and be the same size as the framed opening to eliminate gaps.
Install the grill and secure in place with one screw on either side, installed from the front through the louvers.
Repeat steps to install the second grill to the other side of the chase.

Note:

Side grills can be used in conjunction with the steel stud framing kit - see instructions below.

1. Install the side vent framing onto the framing kit by afixing to Parts K +E .If

the framing kit has already been assembled, remove the existing screws
one side at a time and reuse to afix the side vent framing.

OPTIONAL SIDE GRILL INSTALLATION INTO COMPACT OR EXTENDED FRAMING KIT

2. The inished facing material should be attached and be the same size

as the framed opening to eliminate gaps.

3. Install the vent with 2 screws from the front through the louvers as shown.
