Gi29 Direct Vent Gas Insert | 25

FlueCollarInstallation/Removal

2. Attach the exhaust and intake flue liners to the flue collar with a

minimum of three self-tapping screws. Use Mil-Pac sealant to seal

pipes.

Pull the flue collar through the cutout in the top of the insert using

the flue collar tool provided. See diagram 2.

4. The tabs on the insert will seal the flue collar against the intake inlet

and exhaust outlet. Secure with the two screws removed in step 1.

Detach the flue collar from the unit by removing the screws and sliding

the plate backward and off the unit.

5. Tighten the two phillips screws to secure the collar.

Ensure the draft hood is properly secured and

screws tight to create proper seal.
