3. Description of the model
Do you want it all - and want it now?
You made the right choice with the 4WD Monster Truck Chassis Destroyer. The motor, manifold and tuned pipe are already mounted, as is the complete RC
unit with two steering servos, an accelerator/brake servo and the receiver with splash-proof on and off switch. Two dust-proof boxes screwed onto the chassis
for the receiver and its rechargeable batteries. An interposed, adjustable, electronic fail-safe system stops the model when the range of the transmitter is
exceeded or in case of radio interference. The model is controlled via the 3-channel remote control supplied.
The pre-printed chassis is already mounted.
All you need to do is insert the rechargeable batteries and/or disposable batteries, screw in the spark plug, fill the tank. Off you go!

The options to adjust the running gear of this type of vehicle are as versatile and diverse as your driving style and the terrain you can access with it. A 3mm
thick hardened aluminium base support plate with angulated sides guarantees the greatest stability, three additional reinforcing bars ensure the greatest
torsion strength even under the toughest conditions.
Eight generously dimensioned and adjustable oil pressure shock absorbers ensure good traction and road-holding.
The automatic, adjustable two-speed gearbox guarantees optimal torque in any speed range. A plastic undercarriage protector protects the main drive gear,
which extends through the chassis plate, against any stones that may be thrown up and against bottoming out on uneven surfaces.
A generously dimensioned bumper-bar on the front and a plastic bumper on the back protect the chassis and the accessories from any rough and tumble.
Air-filled tyres with a rough V-Profil ensure the right acceleration even in tough terrain.
Technical Information
Engine
The model is driven by an air-cooled 5,89 ccm two stroke engine with ,77 kW (3,76 hp). A slide carburettor and foam air-filter, manifold and tuned pipe are
already mounted.
The novel aluminium and plastic slide carburettor is easily adjustable, hence allowing perfect engine tuning. The recoil pull starter flanged to the crank case
is all that is required to start the engine.
The engine is operated with environmentally-friendly model fuel based on methanol/oil base, the tank with its practical quick-action cap has a volume of ??
ccm. Any petrol which overflows during tank filling is collected by the rill at the top of the tank and is passed through the base plate away from the chassis
via a drainage pipe.
Drive
The drive power from the nearly 4 hp two-stroke engine is transmitted via the main drive gears in the adjustable automatic two-speed transmission with a
centrifugal clutch and two cardan shafts to one enclosed differential in both the front and rear axles. The drive shaft of the front axle has a larger diameter
in the middle section to reduce upswing at high revs and to increase the torsion strength. The front wheels are driven by CVD cardan shafts (drive shafts)
which guarantee the wheel drive even during sharp turning manoeuvres (stark shaft angle).
The two-speed gearbox has metal main drive gears, the bell housing for the centrifugal clutch - with aluminium clutch plates - has two ventilation slits for
better cooling.
All differentials have metal beval wheels and planet wheels, the axle drive shafts are supported by ball bearings.
Undercarriage
The independent suspension on double wishbone steering and the parallel aligned aluminium oil-filled shock absorbers on each half-axle allow optimisation
of road handling for all requirements. The aluminium oil-filled shock absorbers, which allow suspension angle adjustment, can also be freely adjusted using
the threaded ring on the spring pre-tensioners.
The model‘s braking equipment consists of a four-disc perforated disc-brake system. Two discs each slow the drive to the front axle and back axle respectively
and thus permit brutal braking force.
Two steering servos ensure unconditional completion of steering commands, adjustable servo-savers protect the steering servos in difficult terrain.
Chassis
The hardened aluminium base support plate guarantees the greatest stability while weighing very little. A reinforcing rod running from the front axle to the
chassis and two cross-mounted rods from the rear axle differential and from the upper deck to the chassis make it practically impossible to bend the chassis
plate even under the toughest conditions. The two reinforcing rods in front of the rear axle can also be tensioned against one another using a tensioning
screw.
This rigidity creates great driving stability, as there is no suspension delay or effect from the chassis affecting the selected running gear adjustment.
