Specification for fire doors
Operator types
In order to clearly differentiate them from standard operators, an „F“ has been added to the
type designation and the gear box is marked with the words „FIRE SAFETY“. These opera-
tors must be fitted onto fire doors in new installations and as replacements.
Arm types
When fitting a DFA 127 operator to fire doors, all types of arms convenient for this operator
can be used.
Settings to adjust closing time
With operators for Fire doors in the event of a power failure or of an operator breakdown,
closing time is influenced by the resistance value selected.
The braking resistances and the adjustable jumper are to be found on the printed circuit
board MOT, which is connected to the drive unit ATE.
