9.7 COMMUNICATION SERIAL PORTS RS232

Serial Port 1 and Serial Port 2 are two serial ports that can be used as communication
ports for connecting to external peripheral units (the Serial Port 2 is optional). The
controlling circuit is integrated within the microprocessor which uses two MAX232 (X11,
X12) .
The two serial ports are RS232C type. The connector carries TXD, RXD, CTS and RTS
signals; furthermore, 12VDC voltage max 0.5A is available on pin 5 for Power Supply any
LCB certified by RCH.
