Linearize
The Linearization menu allows each channel to have its own linearization curve stored in the controller’s
non-volatile memory. Input versus output points must be entered in percent of full scale values. This
means if the range is 0-200 ppmH2S then 100 ppm is 50% of full scale. Zero input will provide a zero
output and 100% input a 100% output. Nine intermediate points may be entered to define the curve.
This is particularly useful in applications such as measuring tank levels in a spherical tank.

Standard Features Setup
Standard Features are those features which are present in all configurations of the ViewSmart 1600+. The
only necessary hardware for a ViewSmart 1600+ is the Main CPU assembly and the Main I/O assembly.

Alarm Settings
Each Channel has its own set of Alarm 1, 2 and 3 settings. To edit a channel’s alarm settings, use the Up,
Down, Left and Right buttons to highlight the desired channel and press the Edit key.

Alarm 1, Alarm 2 and Alarm 3 Menus
Alarms 1, 2, and 3 are identical except A1 does not have the option to change the color, it is always yellow,
and only A3 can be turned off if not needed. The following parameters can be accessed while in the Alarm
