Name and Group Name
All illuminator
s have the default name of “VARIO
2
IP”. This should be changed so
that the illuminator can be easily identified.
The group name is left blank by default. The group name is used to associate / group
illuminators together and allows them to interact using group commands.
Both
“
Name
”
and
“
Group Name
”
can be modified directly from the Raytec
Discovery Tool or via the web interface.
To change these via the Raytec Discovery Tool, highlight the illuminator you want to
change. Then press
Status
.
