6. To secure the bracket cover, insert the front of the cover under the front edge of the bracket support (Figure 5-15).
Close the cover and secure using the provided screw (Figure 5-16).

7. Adjust the front magnetic leg by turning the bolt to raise and lower the front of the antenna (Figure 5-17).
Lift the front of the antenna off of the vehicle’s roof before turning the magnetic leg to prevent damage to
the vehicle’s paint. The antenna mount may flex slightly when driving over rough terrain. There should be
at least 1/2 inch of space between the antenna mount and the vehicle’s roof to prevent the mount from
making contact with the roof during rough driving conditions. Once the mount is set to the proper height,
tighten the nut to keep the leg secure.
8. Place the magnetic leg cover onto the mount and secure using the 2 provided screws (Figure 5-18).
