11 Receiver Connections
The following chapter will explain the procedures for properly connecting all system cables to the receiver.
Key Note:
Be sure to record the smart card, receiver and antenna serial
numbers. These numbers will be used to activate the system.
Caution:
Do NOT remove the cover of the receiver. Do NOT obstruct
or place anything into the ventilation slots of the receiver.
Damage to the unit or injury may occur due to exposed
voltage. Do NOT place the receiver in a location where it
may be exposed to any type of moisture. This may result in
electrical shock or fire.
Caution:
Make sure that the power to the receiver is
disconnected from the power source BEFORE
connecting or removing any cables from the receiver.
11.1 Wiring Configurations
1. Connect the antenna cable coming from the antenna to the
ANTENNA
port of the receiver.
2. Connect the A/V cables to the A/V ports on the receiver.
3. Connect the power cable to the
PWR IN
port on the receiver.
