10.3 Important Notes
1. The CGTH-Series heater is controlled

y a lo

v
oltage (24 V AC) thermostat s
u
pplied
w
ith the
heater. The control transformer located inside
the
bu
rner s
u
pplies the necessary electrical
po
w
er to operate the thermostat. No other elec-
trical po
w
er to the thermostat is req
u
ired.

ire for connecting the thermostat to the
heater is not s

pplied. Refer to the installation
instr

ctions s

pplied

ith the thermostat for cor-
rect
w
ire sizing.
10.4 Thermostat Placement
For

lts, locate the thermostat as follo

nt the thermostat on an interior

le.

nt the thermostat approximately 60" (15.2
cm) from the floor.
• Mo

nt the thermostat so that it is shielded from
the heat that is radiated from the heater.

ag. The thermo-
stat tag contains important safety information and

sed.
10.5 Thermostat Installation
1. Connect thermostat

terminal on the inside of the thermostat;
attach the remaining

ire to the
"W"
terminal.
B. Peel off

Plug heater into grounded three-prong ceiling
receptacle.
Do not cut or remove the grounding prong
from this plug.
