REAR WHEEL TOE-IN (FIg.38)
The rear wheels should toe in 1/8" from the front to
the back of the wheel.
1.
Loosen locknuts L at balljoints inside each of the
rear wheels.
2.
For each wheel, rotate tie rod H until the toe-in
is correct.
3.
Tighten locknuts L.
STEERING SHAFT (Fig.38)
Balljoint R should just contact pin E on both sides.
1.
Loosen nut M.
2.
Verify steering balance by rotating steering shaft
N in its cylinder to produce full steering right and
left.
3.
Tighten nut M.
ALTERNATOR (Fig.39)
The fan belt is adjusted so that it has some slack to
avoid undue stress on alternator bearings but does
not slip on the alternator pulley.
1.
Loosen alternator bolts P.
2.
Move the alternator to tighten or loosen fan belt.
3.
Tighten bolts P.
MILSCO SEAT (USA)
Pulling lever E allows adjustment of the seat up to
5", front to rear. Turn knob to set firmness of seat
so it does not bottom with operator seated.
