Example no. 2 a balance AS 220.3Y:
No. Tare value

sample
Means of operation
1
220.0000 g 0.5000 g The minimum sample refers to all net
weighments that are weighed in a
packaging with optional mass from full
measuring range of a balance (the <TARE>
button applied), as well as on weighing
samples without the packaging (the
<TARE> button is not applied).
Example no. 3 a balance AS 220.3Y:
No. Tare value
Minimum
sample
Means of operation
1
0.0000 g
0.2500 g The minimum sample refers to all net
weighments that are weighed without a
packaging (the <TARE> button is not
applied).
The software identifies this setting as the
minimum sample is valid only for weighing
samples without a packaging. If tarring
option is applied then the software disables
the pictogram informing on minimum
sample in use, and renders the weighment
as carried out with tare applied, that does
not have a minimum sample criterion
determined.
The user can preview entered data, but data editing is disabled.
