You can enjoy not only scrambled channels using the Conditional 

Access Modules (CAM) with smart card, but also Free-To-Air channels.
This receiver is equipped with a twin-slot Common Interface under DVB 

specification, accepting two different types of PCMCIA modules. Plug 

in the appropriate CI module together with a valid Smart Card. You 

will then have access to the respective scrambled and pay-per-view 

channels. 

Each Smart Card contains your subscription details. You can view your 

entitlement via the CI option on the receiver’s main menu. 

This receiver currently supports seven kinds of CAM as follows: 

Viaccess, Irdeto, Nagravision, Cryptoworks, Conax, Alphacrypt, SECA 

(Mediaguard)

How to use your CAM and Smart card

Slide the CAM into the slot provided until the eject button is fully 

extended. 

Insert the smart card into the CAM gently with the gold colored chip 

upwards. 

Ensure that these contacts are clean before inserting it into the CAM. 

To remove the CAM out of slot, push the button on the right side of the 

CAM slot. 

CAM and Smart Card depend on the service provider. If you need 

CAM, please contact your local service provider or distributor.

Note:

 Both the CAM and Smart Card contain delicate electronic 

circuitry, please handle them with care when inserting and removing 

them from the receiver.
