Setting.a.Security.Code.or.Personal.
Identification Number (PIN)

To play your messages from a remote location outside of your

home, you will need to enter a two-digit Security code or

Personal Identification Number (PIN).
1. Press

MENu/SET

on the base.

2. Press

SELECT/

to move the pointer to select SECURITY

CoDE, and then press

MENu/SET

3. Enter a two-digit Security or PIN code (

01-99

) using the

number keypad. To change the number, use (delete) to

backspace.

4. Press

MENu/SET

. You will hear a confirmation tone.

Using.Your.Answering.Machine

The message counter on the base display will show the number

of messages you have waiting. If NEw appears in the base display

and flashes, you have new messages waiting that you have not

yet listened to.
The answering machine will play all of your new messages first

and then play any old messages that you have not yet deleted

from the system.
