Management Information Base (MIB)
A management information base (MIB) is a virtual database used for managing the entities in a
communications network and is most often associated with the Simple Network Management
Protocol (SNMP). The EnergySwitch features a built-in mib file which can be found at the
following location:

Where
[DEVICE_IP]
is the IP of your EnergySwitch (i.e.: 192.168.14.250).
Use this file to translate the OIDs (Object IDentifiers) available over SNMP to a more human-
readable state. For more information on how to use the MIB file, please refer to the
documentation of your network monitoring software.
