The following information is provided for anyone who wishes to write their own programs. Pin
designations apply to the PICAXE® type 14M2 microcontroller which is used in the USKI-5.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Enhanced switching capabilities, over what is possible with the standard MOS relays, are
available with various other devices which can be connected externally and controlled by the
USKI-

5’s internal relays. One device is the infinion® BSP772T Smart High-Side Power Switch

which provides features such as short circuit protection, capacitive and inductive load switching,
etc. Further data is available in the associated data sheet:
