Installing the System Hardware

3.

Remove the supporting bracket. Then align the disk drive with the connector facing away
from the carrier handle.

4.

Align four disk drive tray screw holes on both sides of the disk tray.

5.

Install and tighten all four screws to secure disk drive within the tray.

3.3.

Installing the Slide Rails

After installing the disk drive into the tray, you can mount the system chassis into a rack with
slide rails, and then insert the trays into the system. This section describes how to install the
slide rail and put it on the cabinet.

CAUTION

The populated storage system can be very heavy, to avoid any potential
injury or harm to installers, or damage to the system, we strongly
recommend at least two certified operators or engineers perform the
system installation.
