The following are detailed steps for removing the controller module from the system chassis. 

1.

 

Pull down the release lever and then pull out about half length of the controller module by 
holding the release lever. 

2.

 

Use one hand to hold one end of the controller module (the side with the release lever) and 
the other hand hold the bottom of the controller; pull out the controller module until it is 
free from the system chassis. 

Installing the Controller Module 

The following content and images are the detail steps of installing the controller module into 
the system chassis. 

1.

 

Make sure the position of the release lever of the controller is at downward. 

2.

 

Align and place the controller to the empty controller slot. 

3.

 

Push the controller module all the way into the controller slot until the position of the 
release lever move upward automatically. 

4.

 

Pull up the release lever until they totally parallel with the controller cage. 

Confirm the Controller Module Installation 

Power on the system, the status LED will show solid 

green

 color if the controller module is 

successfully installed, then the XEVO UI will display a controller rear image and Controller 
Status becomes Normal in the XEVO UI
