pop-ups & activex Controls
To access the DVR from the Internet Explorer web browser, after completing the NETWORK
SETUP steps, the browser controls will need to be modified to allow pop-ups and enable
ActiveX Controls.
To allow pop-ups:
1.
Open Internet Explorer
2.
From the main menu, click TOOLS to open its drop down menu
3.
Navigate to POP UP BLOCKER to open its drop down menu
4.
Click on TURN OFF POP-UP BLOCKER, if this option is NOT available, your pop-up
block is already turned off
To enable Active X controls:
1.
Open Internet Explorer
2.
From the main menu, click TOOLS to open its drop down menu
3.
Click INTERNET OPTIONS to open Internet Options window (

4.
Select the SECURITY tab
5.
Click CUSTOM LEVEL button
6.
You may need to click OK to open Security Settings window or it may open after
clicking CUSTOM LEVEL
