Remove Hot End
After the filament is removed, perform the steps below:
1.
Remove the
Filament Guide Tube
.
2.
Remove the white
Heater Cartridge Connector
in the slot labeled C.
3.
Remove the blue
Thermistor Connector
in the slot labeled D.
4.
Release red
Hot End Clamp
handle on hot end receiver block.
5.
Remove the
Hot End
.
Load Filament
1.
On the Printer Control Screen, select
Move
and press 50 once in Z values to lower
print bed 50 mm.
2.
On the Printer Control Screen, set the
Active Bed and Hot End
Temperature
to
the appropriate print temperature for material.

Slide the appropriate filament onto the filament support roller. The filament roll
should be oriented so the filament will be coming off the top of the roll toward the
front of the machine (Figure 38).
4.
Manually push the filament into the filament guide and continue to feed until the
filament reaches the extruder. You will no longer be able to push the filament at this
point.
5.
If necessary, adjust the shaft collars on the filament roll support so the filament roll
is centered relative to the filament guide (Figure 39).
6.
Loosen the bolts with a 5 mm Allen key. A 10-20 mm gap between the collar and the
side of the roll is sufficient.
