Compensation Parameters
P1 and P2
Offset
P*851 Measurement Offset
The value of this parameter is added to the measured distance, in
Measurement Units
(
P*104
).
This Offset will be added to the level, as derived from the transducer, and
will affect everything including the reading on the display, the relay
setpoints and the mA output.
Temperature
P1 and P2
P*852 Temperature Source
This parameter determines the source of the temperature measurement. By
default,
it is set to automatic (
P*852=1
), which will automatically detect if a
temperature sensor is available from the transducer. If for any reason, no
temperature input is received, then the
Fixed Temp
value is used, as set by
P*854
.
The temperature source can be specifically set as follows:
OPTION
DESCRIPTION
1 = Automatic (Default)
Will automatically select transducer temperature
sensor, if available, or fixed temperature (P*854) if
no temperature sensor found.
2 = Xducer
Always uses temperature reading from transducer.
3 = Fixed
Always uses fixed temperature (P854)
4 = Ext Range “A”
Uses an optional external temperature sensor with
an operating range of -25
o
C to 50
o
C.
5 = Ext Range “B”
Uses an optional external temperature sensor with
an operating range of -25
o
C to 125
o
C.
Important Notice
In the following parameters, * denotes the point of measurement being
used (* = parameter selectable in Point 1 and/or in Point 2).
All menu options are the same for Point 1 and Point 2. Measurement points
can be “toggled” by pressing
to change from point 1 to point 2 to
access parameters on each point.
