9.2 PT113PB – Profibus
PT113PB instruments are state-of-the-art strain gage load cell signal digitisers with a Profibus interface.
This instrument can beused for any type of weighing processes and force measurement including tank
and silo weighing, dynamic weighing, check weighing, filling, tension /compression force measurement
etc.
A sample GSD file is available supplied together with the instrument to aid in setup.
For connections refer to 4.2.1 and the table below. For front panel annunciator explanation refer to
5.1.2.3 and 5.1.2.1.

Warning:
Connect the shield to the reference ground or shield pin of the power connector.
Warning:
Disconnect AzComT PC software after configuration for Profibus interfacing to function
correctly.
9.2.1.1 Programming and Calibration
PT113 instruments are programmed and calibrated with AzComT. Analog digitiser parameter values
are very important for better weighing performance. Please refer to 6.3.1.
9.2.1.2 Profibus Setup
Profibus set up is performed with AzComT software as described in 6.3.2.3.
Select the Gateway tab after connecting xwith AzComT to the instrument. You will see the Profibus
parameters for rack address in this tab, the address range is 1 to 126, default is ‘01’.
