6.3.2.3 RS-232C Carriage Return
Carriage Returns can be enabled or disabled from Continuous data format.
Default is ‘Enable’.
6.3.2.4 RS-232C Line Feed
Line Feeds can be enabled or disabled from Continuous data format.
Default is ‘Enable’.
6.3.2.5 RS-232C Response Speed
The response speed can be selected as “immediate” or “20 ms” for Modbus RTU data format.
Immediate
:
The Modbus RTU Answer is sent immediately after the Request is
received.
20 msec
: The Modbus RTU Answer is delayed 20 msec after the Request is
received. This property is very helpful for slow PLC systems.
Default is ‘immediate’.
6.3.2.6 RS-485 Setup (PT113MB only)
The meaning of the parameters for RS-485 is the same as for RS-232C.
The address is the Modbus device address 0 to 31. 0 means no address is set.
Warning
: BSI mode can only be active for one port at a time.
6.3.3 Calibration
Scale build, operation mode selection and scale calibration is performed in the calibration tab of
AzComT as seen below. Please follow the procedure described in the following sections in sequence.
This block allows the user to select operation mode and polarity. (Completed previously 6.3.1)
Write to Digitizer:
Click this button to save the operating mode and polarity to the
PT113.
Calibration block:
This block allows the user to perform calibration with test weights.
vCal Calibration:
This block allows the user to perform calibration without test weights.
Calibration Coefficients:
This function allows the user to restore calibration if the
coefficients had been noted previously.
6.3.3.1 Mode selection
PT113 transmitters have three operating modes which are;
Count Mode
:
Filtered and normalized ADC count data is transmitted in this mode.
The calibration is performed at the PC or PLC, if any.
Weighing Mode
:
Unipolar weight data in calibrated weighing unit is transmitted. This
mode is compatible with OIML R76 and EN 45501.
