Alarm unit via a PLC

The duration of the signal on the digital I/O socket is approx. 200ms for each

defect. This output has been configured to switch a customer PLC as

shown.

If no PLC is available a relay can be used as shown below. Some alarm

lamps already have a relay built in.

Alarm unit via a time-lag relay

The internal current supply of the EDDYSENSOR (pin 6, 24V, I

max

= 100mA)

can be used to switch a relay if no external current supply is available.
