Adductor
Correct usage
The machine is designed for the functional training of the hip abducting
muscles in the open system. With this machine the hip adduction is trained in a
functional moving manner. The load is applied both concentrically and
eccentrically.
Specific positioning of the person training
The angle of inclination of the machine must be set according to the exercise
objective. Open (turn) the rotary handle while holding the machine at the same
time. This will release the tilt adjustment and the machine can be adjusted.
WARNING! This is a two-handed operation. With one hand, the ma-
chine is held firm and the other hand is used to release the turn-
ing/locking lever for adjustment.
By pulling the corresponding locking pin, the leg support can be adjusted
twice. The setting A adjusts both the lateral support of the knee joint as well as
the padding to the lower leg support in the height.
If the lateral support of the knee joint is in the correct position, the lower leg
support is individually adjusted by the setting B to the trainee.
By pulling the locking pin, the lateral pelvic padding can be adjusted in such a
way that no evasive movements can be carried out during the movement.
When the trainee is positioned on the machine, the padding is pressed with
light pressure against the trainee's pelvis so that the locking pin engages
completely.
