must be excluded.
Relative contraindications:

tumor disease

Hypertension not sufficiently controlled by medication
•
Stress sensitive coronary heart diseases (CHD)
•
Relative heart failure
•
Short interval phases of rheumatism
•
Herniated discs and protrusions up to 3 months without indication for surgery
•
glaucoma
•
diabetes
•
Unstable psyche
Absolute contraindications:
•
Fresh fractures (up to 4 months)
•
Acute diagnosis advised for surgery
•
Condition after abdominal surgery (up to 4 months)
•
Condition after gynecological surgery (up to 4 months)
•
scar fractures
•
Malformations of the spine:
o
Spina bifida with infestation of more than one spinal segment
o
Florid Morbus Scheuermann
o
Scoliosis in growth of more than 30° according to Cobb
•
Severe vascular disease:
o
Aneurysm of the Aorta
o
pulmonary embolism
o
Thrombosis of large veins
o
Cerebral ischemia
•
Severe cardiovascular diseases:
o
with heart insufficiency
o
Unstable angina pectoris
•
Severe inflammatory disease in acute relapse:
o
e.g. PcP, ankylosing spondylitis
•
Osteoporosis with less than 80 % average age bone density
•
Acute herniated disc with leg problems:
o
Indication for surgery (acute nerve irritation)
o
Progressive neurological symptoms

retinal detachment
•
Infectious diseases
•
Progressive instability of the spine

Hypertensive Carotissin Syndrome

tinnitus

Vortex gliding (> Meyerding II)
•
root and spinal cord symptoms (with significant neurological symptoms)
