MIB Browser for SNMP Interface 

To select the preferred SNMP protocol version, go to Configuration Tab on the NuDesign MIB Browser Pro 8.2 and mark the 
version either as v1, v2c or v3.

 2.1 Using MIB Browser in Snmpv1-V2c

To access the SNMPv1-v2c agent through MIB browser

1. Add the device IP address in the 

Dest IP Address

 field. 

2. Enter the read community string and write community strings. The same should be configured in the device also. If 

the user doesn’t configure anything, the default community/password 

public

 is used. 

NOTE:

 The above configuration procedures are created by considering the NuDesign’s MIB Browser Pro 8.2.

 2.2 Using MIB Browser in SNMPv3

To access the SNMPv3 agent through MIB browser 

1. In the MIB browser, click Tools > Options. The MIBrowser’s current USM User table is displayed, as shown below.
