You need an SD memory card for the update, which contains the
necessary software, see
‘Downloading the update’ on page 4.
Keep hold of the SD card after the update.
Make sure of the following during the update:
n
The power supply to the DULCOMARIN
®
II is not discon‐
nected.
n
The bus connections are not disconnected.
n
The SD card is not removed from the DULCOMARIN
®
II.
n
All external modules with CAN bus connection, such as
sensors and metering pumps, must be connected to the
CAN bus and started up.
n
The metering pumps must be connected to the mains
voltage.
2.1 Performing automatic updates for all modules
Manual update of modules such as: CLE-, CTE-, CGE-, BRE- CAN
sensors, Beta4/CANopen metering pumps, A-, M-, P-, R-modules
etc.
Press the following keys one after the other and note the
messages in the display:

[F4 CONFIG]
n
[F4 UPDATE]
n
‘Password’ 4444
n
[ENTER]

[F4 UPDATE] ‘all modules’

[ENTER]

An overview appears, indicating the maximum duration of
the update and the
[Node ID] of the modules being
updated.
2.2 Performing manual updates
You will need to update modules manually if they cannot be auto‐
matically updated because a software part is too old.

The message
‘Modules must be updated manually’ appears.
In this case, under no circumstances disconnect the power
supply or the bus connection during the first 20 seconds of
the update.

Note down the relevant
[Node ID] (node number).
3.
Press the following keys one after the other and note the
messages in the display:

[F4 CONFIG]

– Select the module that has the 1st
[Node ID] (node
number) noted down, e.g. DXMaA.
