INTRODUCTION
The PROFOON PDX-1700 series DECT telephones are cordless telecommuni-
cation systems, based on the DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephone)
technology.
The PDX-1700 comes with one handset only. The PDX-17xx models come with
multiple handsets and the model PDX-1715 has a built-in digital answering
machine.
The PROFOON PDX-1700 series DECT telephones are GAP compatible. Up to
6 handsets can be registered to a single base and each handset can be registe-
red to up to 4 bases.
DECLARATION OF NETWORKCOMPATIBILITY
The Profoon PDX-1700 series is designed for use on the ‘public switched telep-
hone networks (analogue single-line)’ of telephone- and cable-companies inside
the European Union.
Each country and/or provider might require a different telephoneplug.
The function Caller-ID is based on both the DTMF and the FSK system (automa-
tic detection). It might be possible that you have to subscribe to this feature.
The Profoon PDX-1700 series complies with the essential requirements and pro-
visions as described in the European Directive 1999/5/EC.
