10.2 Compass and level-meter
With this feature the Zehntner ZRM 6010 allows to store the orientation of the
device at the time a measurement is taken. So you can always reproduce in what
driving direction the measurements had been taken. This is particularly interesting
for center lines.
It is also possible to store the gradient of the road to a measurement. The gradient
is an important factor in assessing wet measurements.
Further information is available in chapter 9
“Quickstart menu” on page 32.
10.3 GNSS GPS-unit
With this feature the Zehntner ZRM 6010 features the possibility to store the exact
geographical position for every measurement taken. As the module is not only
GPS-unit but a GNSS module particularly, it can also use data from other
navigation satellites like Galileo, Glonass and Beidou.
If the module is built in, the Zehntner ZRM 6010 indicate left of the battery status
the status of the GPS receiption.
No GPS signal
The GPS-unit is not able to receive a positioning
signal. The coordinates cannot be displayed.
Weak GPS Signal
The GPS-unit is receiving the positioning signal. The
quality of the GPS signal is poor.
Normal

The GPS-unit is receiving the positioning signal. The
quality of the GPS signal is fine.
Intense
GPS signal
The GPS-unit is receiving the positioning signal. The
quality of the GPS signal is very good.
