Purpose Selects emphasized character print format.
Comment When the emphasized print control code is received, all characters will be
printed in emphasized print until reset by the emphasized print reset control
code or printer reset. The emphasized print attribute is implemented by horiĆ
zontal shadow" printing and may reduce the print speed to half.
Emphasized print is ignored during superscript or subscript printing, and
when 15 or 17 cpi characters have been selected.
