IGP and CT Options (continued)
10. Install the power supply board: (See Figure 6–14.)
a.
Make sure the CT/IGP–2X0 power cable runs between the heat
sinks and transformers as you slide the power supply board into
position.
b. Connect the CT/IGP–2X0 power cable connector to the power
supply board.
c.
Connect power supply cable P1 to the power supply board.
11. Connect the power jumper cable to connector J3 on the CT/IGP–2X0
power board.
12. Route the IGP control panel cable out of the opening at the back of the
card cage.
13. Connect the orange CT I/O cable to pins 1 and 2 of connector P2 on the
CT board. The beveled edge of the connector must face toward the
board.
14. Connect the gray CT I/O cable to pins 3 – 8 of connector P2 on the CT
board. Pin 1 on the cable connector faces up.
15. Connect the power jumper cable to the power connector on the CT
board.
16. Route the printer control panel cable under the IGP board.
17. Connect the IGP–CCB interconnect cable to connector J60 on the IGP
board.
CAUTION
In the next two steps, make sure the cables under the IGP board are not
pinched or crushed.
18. Slide the IGP board down into the card cage and seat the board in the
CT/IGP–2X0 power connector on the bottom of the card cage.
19. Install the CCB in its guides and seat it in the bottom connector.
20. Connect the printer control panel cable connector to connector J3 on the
common controller board.
21. Connect the IGB–CCB interconnect cable to connector J1 on the
common controller board.
22. Install the mechanism driver PCBA and connect the CCB/Mech. Driver
and CT/IGP–2X0 cables the mech. driver board.
23. Set the IGP board configuration to the CT printer type. (Refer to the
IGP User’s Manual.)
