Implicit Loops
Loops can also be "implied" by using a combination of timecode and autofollow times. For example, if an autofollow
time is running and the next scene in the Scene List has a timecode value greater than the current timecode, then it
will loop back to the last timecoded scene in the list.
Example configuration:
In the above example, the 2 Verse, 2.1 Verse, and 2.2 Verse scenes all have an autofollow time of 2 seconds, while the
Bridge scene has a timecode 30 seconds later. In this case, the Verse scenes will loop for 30 seconds until the Bridge
timecode is reached, at which time the sequence will advance to the Bridge scene.
Note that when looping back to the Verse scene, timecode continues to run forward. Timecode does not reset to
01:00:05:00 each time through the loop.
To remove the loop, simply clear the Verse scene’s autofollow. The show will advance to 2.1 Verse, then to 2.2 Verse,
and then advance normally to Bridge when its timecode is reached.
The Scene List is not automatically sorted by timecode, so it can be edited in any order. However, it is best to
keep the scenes ordered by timecode, so that when a loop is inserted, it's easier to visualize the progression
through the show.
