(1)  The maximum resistance level is strides per minute (SPM) dependent. For SPM rates
100 SPM or greater, the pedal resistance matches the resistance level setting. As the SPM
drops below 100 SPM, the maximum allowable pedal resistance will incrementally decrease
regardless of the resistance level setting. As the SPM increases to 100 SPM, the pedal res-
istance will also increase to the control level setting.
