Architecture
ROBO-8771VG2 adopts Intel
®
Ultra Low Voltage Celeron M 600MHz with 512KB L2
cache processor with 852GM GMCH (Graphics Memory Controller Hub) and ICH4
(I/O Controller Hub) chipset. 852GM supports one 200-pin DDR200/266 SODIMM
socket on ROBO-8771VG2, and integrated 32-bit 3D core at 133MHz with Dynamic
Video Memory Technology (DVMT). ICH4 supports PCI bus which was used to
hook dual Realtek 8110SC Gigabit Controllers and four PCI external expansion via
gold finger; FWH (Firmware Hub) as interface of BIOS; LPC (Low Pin Count)
interface for Super I/O and some peripheries interfaces such as dual IDE channels,
six USB ports.
Super I/O provides interface such as PS/2 keyboard & mouse, Floppy channel,
Watch Dog Timer, Parallel port, Serial port and general purpose input & output.
Audio codec, Realtek ALC655 based on HDA (High Definition Audio) to provide 2-
channel audio function such as Line-in/Line-out/MIC via header on-board.
