System Installation
This chapter provides you with instructions on how to set up and configure your
system. The additional information shows you how to install M-system Flash
disk, on-board AGP and PCI device, and handle WDT operation in software
program.
3-1 Slot 1 Processor
Installing Pentium-II CPU
1). Mounting the Single Edge Contact (SEC) Cartridge or SECC2 CPU module:
Place the CPU cartridge from a horizontal direction to the retention module
and gently slide it down the trails. Push the CPU cartridge gently but firmly
until it is fully inserted.

2). Lock the CPU cooling fan connector into dedicated 3-pin header.

NOTICE
You have better choice to use the accessory, right angle slot-1latch kit, to
enhance SECC2 cartridge mechanism to prevent it from damage or bad contact
in heavy vibration environment.
