Replacing The Gas Inlet Valve 

When required:

Faulty Gas Inlet Valve

Tools required:

Spanner

Parts required:

Gas Inlet Valve Assembly (#0860-0700)

1) Open the detector’s side panel 
using the access key as shown

2) Locate the gas valve (as shown) 
and disconnect the red crimp 
connectors and all gas tubing.

3) Locate the gas inlet plug 
assembly as shown and peel off the 
sticker to reveal two screws, which 
hold the valve in place.

4) Remove the two screws to take 
out and replace the gas valve.
