Using the Browser
Your phone can display a Web page on the idle screen. You may be able to tap
hyperlinks on this Web page to view additional Web pages in the main
Web Browser. You can also access the main Web Browser by tapping
>

or pressing
.
From the main Web Browser, you can tap hyperlinks to view more Web pages.
You can also tap a text box and enter information by using the dialpad keys on
the phone console or the editing soft keys that display in the main
Web Browser.
To move around a Web page, press your finger on the Web page, and then
drag your finger up or down, or to the right or left. A scrolling indicator on the
far-right of the touch screen indicates your position on the Web page. To stop
a scrolling page, tap the touch screen.
From the main Web Browser, you can access navigation and editing soft keys.
These soft keys display in a tool bar along the bottom of the touch screen. The
tool bar “hides” after it displays for three seconds, unless you’ve tapped a
text box that requires input. You can also display or hide the tool bar by
pressing the touch screen until the tool bar displays or hides.
The following sections describe how to use the navigation and editing soft
keys.

If the Browser uses over 30MB of memory and either the amount of free memory
on the phone is below 6MB or the real time is between 1 A.M. and 5 A.M, the
Browser will restart. Once the Browser has restarted, the last Web page you
viewed displays.
