on the dustbin.
• Empty the dustbin.
• Dispose of the contents of the dustbin in accordance with
state or local regulations.
• Install the empty dustbin in reverse order.

Emptying the sparkTrap

Wear respiratory protection and protective
gloves when you empty the SparkTrap.
To empty the SparkTrap, proceed as follows.
• Loosen the draw latches and remove the lid.
• Use an industrial vacuum cleaner

to empty the SparkTrap.
• Close the SparkTrap.
6.4
Filter replacement
Replacement of the filter cartridges is necessary when the
pressure is more than preset value. Default setting: 2000 Pa.
Replace the two filter cartridges at the same time.

cartridges.

Do

replace the filter cartridges while the fan is
running.
To replace the filter cartridges, proceed as follows.
• De-energize the filter unit.
• Disconnect the compressed air.
• Fully disconnect the unit from the mains.
• Loosen the star knob (F) and disassemble the lid (E), the
nut (D) and the metal washer (C).
• Remove the filter cartridges (B) and put them in the plastic
bag in which the replacement filter cartridge is supplied.
• Seal the bags securely.
• Put new filter cartridges on the cartridge holders (A) and
attach them with the disassembled parts.
• Clean the environment of the unit.
• Push the
rEsEt AlArM
button (ref. Fig. 5.1E) during 10
seconds to reset the filter hour counter
