Saving your sound
preferences
EV31DVD model only
If you have certain preferences for the bass,
treble and stereo-wide controls, you can store
these as a preset for easy recall.

Make sure the stereo-wide and tone
controls are the way you want them, then
press and hold ENTER for three seconds.
USER 1
or
USER 2
will blink in the display.

Use
/
(cursor up/down) to select
USER 1 or USER 2.
You can also use
and
on
the front panel.

Press ENTER.
Using the Sound Field Control
EV31DVD model only
Depending on the source you’re listening to,
you may want to use the Sound Field Control
to match the source you’re listening to.
•
Press SFC repeatedly to select a sound
mode.
The options are as follows:
•
SFC OFF
– (
SFC
indicator disappears)
•
ACTION
– Good for action movies or
movies with lots of sound effects
•
DOME
– Can be used with music to give a
‘live’ feel to the sound source
•
DRAMA
– Good for movies with lots of
dialogue
•
KARAOKE
– Reduces the level of vocal
tracks on pre-recorded music
•
USER 1
– Custom settings 1 (see

•
USER 2
– Custom settings 2 (see
