After pressing the button SERIES, a screen for viewing
and setting of the cut series will appear on the display.

Downcutting is used for cutting off the end of the newly
inserted  material.  Insert  the  material  so  that  the  cut  is
under  the  saw  blade  (the  material  will  not  move  during
downcutting). After pressing the downcutting button, both
vices will clamp, the cut will be performed, the arm will
ascend  to  the  upper  position  and  the  left  vice  will  be
released. The right vice will still hold the material prepared
for  serial  cutting.  It  is  not  necessary  to  perform  the
downcutting when it is not needed.

For example, when switching from the MANUAL MODE to
the  AUTOMATIC  MODE,  the  machine  does  not
automatically switch to the starting position. Therefore is it
necessary, after checking the position of the material etc.,
to press the PRIMARY POSITION button - the hydraulic
unit  will  switch  on,  the  arm  will  ascend  to  the  upper
position, the vices will release and the left vice will move to
position 0 mm.
